What is EasySubli?
Simply put, EasySubli is the latest innovation in sublimation. Unlike traditional sublimation which is limited to white polyester, this heat transfer material allows for sublimation printing on colored polyester along with other fabrics such as cotton, rayon, wool, and more. Normal sublimation transfers can require a temperature of 380°F and above, but EasySubli can be applied as low as 311°F. EasySubli is also CPSIA certified, so it’s perfect for children’s garments as well.
While EasySubli is designed to work with virtually any sublimation printer— such as those from Mutoh®, Mimaki®, Roland®, and HP®— Siser has worked closely with Sawgrass to fine-tune the printing specifications and we recommend using Sawgrass printers and inks for best results.
What are the application specifications?
- Before masking, place the printed design on the lower platen of the heat press for 45 seconds to allow the radiating heat from the upper platen to set the ink. Alternatively, you can set the design aside and allow it to air-dry for 2 hours before masking.
- Applies to 100% Polyester, 100% Cotton, Poly/Cotton blends, and most other fabrics.
- Can be applied to any color garment— not limited to just white polyester.
- Applies at a lower temperature of 311°F for 15 seconds with a heat press
What advantages does EasySubli offer?
One of the biggest advantages of EasySubli is that it does *not* require a white polyester garment, like traditional sublimation methods do. EasySubli is compatible on virtually every type of garment that EasyWeed® applies onto, no matter the color.
Start-up costs are also significantly less with EasySubli when compared to solvent, eco-solvent, or latex printing. Those who are not ready to invest thousands of dollars into large format printers now have a more affordable option for achieving full-color designs.
